Linksys x3000 high ping

If the router supports Tomato/DDWRT it may be worth moving to that? Though I guess you don't want to knacker your warranty. You can probably re-flash the original firmware though.

Tbh you have a case for demanding a refund as it isn't fit for purpose. I'm not 100% sure of the legalities though.
 
I have a e4200 and that has pretty high ping times, I think it's a "feature" of this hardware and firmware. As above I think Tomato / DDWRT can fix it but has its risks.....
 
I've filled in a returns request to the company I purchased it from, (wasn't OcUK as they never had stock for weeks) to return the product for a replacement other than a Linksys router. I've stated the router is not fit for purpose.

The competitor has agreed to replace the router and not with another Linksys :D
Only downside is they no longer have the Billion 7800N, it's only the 7800...what's the difference ?
