Linus has the infamous Ryzen random restart/shut down problem

I've been getting this too with a 1700. I tried what was suggested in the video and I have had three random shut downs since. I find that it does it a few times, then if I leave my PC on, it wont do it again until I need to reboot for something.

The issue only happens on x570 and b560

I guess so - Mine is basically bullet proof so ive been pretty lucky.

I get it occasionally as well, usually when the pc is just on YouTube or something. Had it a couple of times this month.

Yep, i’ve got this problem on my Crosshair VIII Impact and 3700X combo. Had to disable C-States in BIOS otherwise i’d get instability at idle.

If AMD don’t fix this soon it’s certainly going to inform my next CPU choice given it’s been happening since Ryzen 1000 series and never been addressed.
