Linus Tech Tips - Reddit told me to buy this Phase change material

I almost didn't bother watching this but it's actually quite interesting, it's an install once phase change solution from Honeywell.

Thought it would be useless but was actually very surprised with how it performed.

Linus says how great a product is and then people like Gamers Nexus and JayzTwoCents say otherwise so hopefully they will review it at some point.

It's still the most entertaining tech channel on YT IMO (if you get used to Linus) and they pitch thier levels of detail correctly. Watching 1000 graphs of FPS on slightly different configs doesn't do it for me.

I watched this one and it's an interesting thing to test. I wouldn't like to enter the lottery of getting the proper stuff from AE though.

Linus speaks the truth about anything given to him. He will happily push back against big companies no matter what they are paying.

I'm not fond of JayzTwoCents. He's the least watchable. GamersNexus is really good imo.

Linus is rich enough now (his media company is now huge with vast staff numbers) not to have to pedal anything he doesn't truly believe in. His reviews are generally fair and he will and has called out bad behaviour even from the giants such as Intel/AMD/Nvidia. The sponsors in each vid are generally delivered consistently and professionally regardless as to who they are. You can always use sponsorblock and vanced if it grinds on you.

As a product I think it's interesting. I think installation could potentially be a lot easier for PC builders if the pads come precut to suit the different sized applications. The ease of peel from its packaging also needs to be sorted out so it doesn't easily rip like Linus did in the vid.

Yeah know what you mean. I prefer Linus when he speaks his mind about things off script. And the only vids I like of his these days are his home tech upgrade vids
