Hi all,

Been trying to get into Linux for a while now.

Used version 9 and 10 of Ubuntu, they both felt quite polished and well finished off, e.g. Drivers downloading out of the box, everything seemed to work well, although I did end up migrating back to Windows.

Anyway, after looking at initial screenshots of 11.04 I thought I would take the plunge and try to get into it again.

Formatted my laptop and installed 11.04, really disappointed with it.

It doesn't seem to detect my wireless card so I can't connect to the internet wirelessly and it won't hook up to my Kodak printer.

To be honest it feels like a BETA version rather than a full release.

Any one else having these problems? It's really disappointing because the OS runs quite smooth and I like the look of Unity.

Oh and my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 6400 if anyone knows of a solution to the wireless problem?

Which Kodak printer is it?

Kodak are bad at producing drivers for anything other than Windows it seems. There is a driver made by the community which works for some if their printers if you connect directly.
