I've never used Linux=/
Basically I want to be able to watch videos on the the Divx stage 6 site which means I need the Divx web player.

Is this possible on the PS3 yet with Linux?
Also can you use the PS3 wireless pad in Linux?

Are there any Linux projects started yet purely for the PS3?

i got linux for my brothers ps2 yellowdog i think it was called and is supposed to install straight to the console - unfortunatly as he only just got his ps3 he aint gonna let me loose with it for a while

If your going to use it to play High Definition files like some .mkv files, I wouldn't bother, the PS3 can't play them back smoothly enough.

I believe this is to do with the PS3 not allowing Linux access to all the avilable RAM and Cell CPU.
