Linux Alternative to BartPE

Anyone know of any decent alternatives to BartPE? I'm not talking about Knoppix, I mean a bona fide system recovery tool with some good hardware support and also NTFS/FAT16/FAT32 support.

If so, is it comparable to BartPE with some decent plugins or not?

Edit: Just to clarify, when I say system recovery tool, I mean the whole works: partition management, file management, network support, drive imaging/cloning/backup/restore etc.

Just feel that it's not the appropriate tool for the job.

Am currently taking a look at the Trinity Rescue Kit and Recovery Is Possible.

Anyone have experience with either of these?
