Hey chaps.

Im looking at buying a Netbook. some may say why bother.

The only reason im getting one is my partner hates using my machine as i have it set up on dual screens. all she uses is messenger and the internet so realy dont see any need to go and buy an expensive machine when i have a decent one i use already,

The issue i have is there all pre loaded with Linux, how would you go about using MSN messenger.

Works with MSN and as far as I know, practically all IM clients. Just install and bung in the client it has to work with (i.e. in this case MSN) and login as normal

luvly jubbly. thats what i like to hear. thaught i was going to have to start messing around with a new os. which isnt fair as ive never tried linux and hear so much about it id like to give it a bash

i use pidgin on my windows machines, great little app

IDD, it is very good

in fact a lot of distros come with it so you may not even need to install it.
