What it is, I got this error message while installing Mint 15 64bit into Virtual Box. I'm running win 7 64 bit, and I ran a diagnostics check on my system, and nothing came up. "Cinnamon is running without Video Hardware acceleration and, as a result you may observe much higher than normal CPU usage. There could be a problem with your drivers or other issuge". Anybody knows what is going on. Thanks

I'm running the same setup and don't get that. I think it is something to do either with you needing drivers on mint for your graphics card or that VirtualBox isn't configured to let mint get at the card.

In the virtualbox settings for the installation (under display) is the "Enable 3D Acceleration" box checked ? On mine that is checked and the one underneath it for 2D acceleration is unchecked.

EDIT: Make sure you have installed the "Guest Additions" for VirtualBox.
