Linux Mint File system

Hello there sorry if this topic has been covered before, I have a host os running windows 7 x64 runnign vmware player and i have downloaded the live disc i have the vm running off the live disc but i when i get to the desktop of the vm it gives me an option to run install linux mint and when i follow the wizard i am having trouble useing the file system it says no root file system ?

yeah i aloated 21 gb for the virtual drive then mouted the live live disc as normal and on the desktop there is the option to install linux mint and it says no root file system on set up ?

I've not used vmware for a while, I use virtualbox now, so can't really advise where to look.

Are you sure the drive is enabled etc?

I use Virtual Box with Mint 10, and had no problems getting Mint10 to run, well the 32bit version.:D

I've not used vmware for years, but you could try changing the disk controller, that may possibly help. otherwise download virtualbox ;)
