Linux - My Thoughts

Yeah, I was thinking that, but it's on the blog of someone else. I could claim I didn't know anything about it. :p

I doubt it will get anywhere on "Digg" anyway, it isn't exactly the most amazing piece of writing ever. :p

I was just using a fresh install of Ubuntu when I decided that Linux was really a viable option for people. My Dad had just asked me to teach him how to use "this Ubuntu thing", and he seemed to just pick it up without any issues. It seemed strange that an operating system is still considered to be for experts only when really it is accessible to anyone, and with very little help someone can learn how to use it.
