Well i don't know if anybody saw it, but this morning on the BBC News they had a section (around 8:00AM) about Operating Systems. Namely the upcoming Windows 7 Launch but they showed the differences between that and XP/OSX. During this segment however, Ubuntu was on screen! For all of 3 seconds, and they portrayed it as being for the advanced computer user but it's still getting the news out there. Good on ya :)

Apple don't make premium products. They make mainstream products and stick a premium price tag on them. They would actually make more money by selling them at a lower price, as they would sell more units.

The case i have on mine (i got it for free, don't worry :p ) is quite rubbish. Flimsy plastic and picks up fingerprints like there's no tomorrow. I mean, if that's what you would be doing if there was no tomorrow then you're pretty sad, but it is an inanimate object...

Trackpad is irritating to use. If it ain't broken don't fix it.

The OS is no better than most Linux distro's, but you can do less with it.
