Howdy geeks and cool kids,

A friend of mine showed me some links to interesting streaming videos about linux and open source the other day. He also showed me some other general IT/tech vids, but I found the linuxy ones more interesting. Since then I have been looking for more as I find them fascinating to watch.
Some of the good vids I've seen are "Revolution OS" "The Code Linux" "Cybercops" and "The History of Gaming". All of these are probably worth a watch.
I would be interested in watching anything else out there on the subject that you might know of. Anyone got any good links?

BTW. I am aware of the other thread with hundreds of links in, but as those vids are mostly of a comic nature, I thought it would be okay to start a new thread specifically for linuxy vids. Please let me know if this is acceptable.

Cheers.

Nice one! Watched that vid. It was pretty good and it lead me to the Computer History Museum YouTube channel which has some more interesting vids.
Anyone else got some links?

Not Linux specific, but they do touch on it from time to time (I haven't watched an episode for weeks & weeks, though really should as I was enjoying it) - dl.tv :) It's more geeky than Linuxy though episodes 242 & 244, currently on the front page, have Linux mentioned in the show notes 'stuff'.

There's a video podcast thingy called Systm that sometimes covers Linux apps, such as asterisk, MythTV, FreeNAS, etc...

Their website is http://revision3.com/systm/ or their videos are on YouTube. Personally, I find the presenter annoying, but it's worth having a look at their stuff every now and again.
