Linux with Windows Remote Desktop

Hi All,

Firstly, Merry Xmas!

My dad has an old P2 400, 192 mb ram laptop which we want to use to remote into an XP virtual machine on another pc on the home network. Based on the spec, im wondering if there any appropriate linux distros that can be of use.

What would people recommend. We literally just need it to boot straight to a windows terminal server login, no local applications other than that. Being able to use the PCMCIA wireless adapter is a must though.

Something like DSL / Puppy. IIWY I'd just keep a very simple window manager xfce say and get rid of all the bloatware.

Aslong as you cut down all the window manager bloat you should be ok. There are also svgalib based console remote desktop clients which might be worth checking
