Hiya,
I keep getting issues with this samba game. Basically I had an idea last night! Why not install mint on my comp, get samba setup then copy the samba.conf to my usb stick then paste it into ubuntu server when i install that over mint!!
Genius? or destined to fail?
or do I keep a GUI and just use mint as its idiot proof for a home server? I wanna run it headless, so i guess i could install webmin.
I'm just looking for a solution that I can just setup and forget..... maybe I should stick to freenas
