Lion keyboard shortcuts

Is there a way to add keyboard shortcuts like the keyboards shortcuts in IOS 5.0.1.

Not sure what you mean exactly, but Better Touch Tool can create custom keyboard/mouse/trackpad shortcuts and gestures for specific apps or global use etc.

Sounds like TextExpander is what you're after.

Ah of course. TextExpander it is then. Well worth the cost. According to my stats in the last month alone it's saved me typing 41,703 characters

But if you only wan't basic expansion like in iOS 5 Lion does have it built in if you go to System Preferences > Language & Text > Text

Just so everybody knows what I'm talking about its this setting in IOS 5 that allows you to set a shortcut which you type which is autocorrected into a phrase.
