Evening all,
I'm currently in the final stages of completing my first full backup to crashplan which has taken 11 days to complete in the background. Unfortunately, whilst trying to fast user switch between two accounts the OS has got stuck spinning up after I entered my password tonight
I was still able to get to my other spaces, so have been killing any PIDs which have been consuming significant amounts of memory, however I'm still stuck. I can sleep/wake but I'm now stuck on a White Screen with my cursor.
The machine is still responding to keyboard commands but I can't do anything. Anything special I can do? Ordinarily I would just do a hard reboot but I don't want to kill my crashplan job which still has another 4 hours to go. I guess I've answered my own question, but wondered if you guys had any thoughts?
