Quick question w.r.t the title of the post. Is anyone aware of a calibration DVD (or similar) that helps with setting the audio delay on your DVD/reciever so it is 'just right'? Have done a quick google search but didnt find too much. Oh and preferably something free too :)

Either the DVD or Blu-ray versions of Digital Video Essentials has the test you are looking for. The test is called A/V Timing.

The Blu-ray version of the disc is called Digital Video Essentials: HD Basics. It also has lots of other really useful audio tests e.g. subwoofer phase, bass rattle test, full range frequency sweeps. On top of that there's also a full set of 1080p and 720p picture set up patterns.

The disc is less than £15 online :D

Cheers for the pointer, I will definitely look to invest in a copy of the blu-ray edition when I purchase a blu-ray player (have ditched my HTPC for the time being)
