lip sync issues for panasonic sets ?

Been talking to a few mates who work in Video conferancing, trying to locate a decent price for the PZ85b or PZ80b... still looking.

One of them warned me of lyp sync issues with HD content with Panasonic TV's..

If you have one of these, is he right? does it have issues?

Never noticed any lip sync issues on my panny that were not sky digital issues. Perfect with DVD SD, and BluRay HD. Also fine from my PC.

Mostly use an AV processor though, so even when sky has unsynced audio I can just dial in the correction on the AV processor.

Normally the worst offenders for lipsync issues are the highly compressed "budget" channels like hallmark, and thats a SD channel.
