Am I the only one here to like this series of games? :rolleyes:

Ok, don't get me wrong I'd rather play Forza3 but if laying Lips is the only way to get my other half to play computer games then it's worth it! :)

I've never played Singstar, so can't compare but having got the new "Lips 2" yesterday, it's another great game to get stuck into. 40 new songs, we've already downloaded a load through Lips the first time around and they're all useable in Lips2, so thats cool.

So, anyone else a "singer" haha!!
 
Got this a while back for th missus, it does get a spin every now and again.
She got bored of the tracks on there tho and there wasnt anything she fancies on the store. Gonna grab a copy of this in the highstreet tomorrow I think.

Can you import tracks from Lips1?

I was 'forced' to play the original Lips once, my rendition of Hungry Like the Wolf wasn't too shabby in the grand scale of things :D
 
Has the release date been brought forward? This wasn't meant to be out until next Friday. I got my review copy through last Saturday but haven't spent much time with it yet. Will likely play it with the wife at the weekend as we both enjoy singing games.

I just bought the first lips the other day. From what I read this has only 250 achievement points and I didnt care much for the track listing so will pass until I see it cheap. Did see the first one for a few quid withiut mics second hand in town the other day - might be worth it if you bought this new one with mics. I quite like having a few drink with mates and attemping to sing a few songs :)
 
The problem i found with the original lips is when you're meant to sing you could just make stupid noises and still get a great score. I took great delight in doing this while "singing" with the mrs, especially when i scored higher than she did lol.

In fairness you can do that in any of these games really, Singstar is a lot easier if you sort of hum.
