Hello hello hellooo!
at 8pm last night I started my Parvum S2.0 build, not finishing till 3am that morning lol. The first impressions of the S2.0 case was that it was definitely made from better quality acrylic, most notably the Perspex side panel which is made from a combination of glass and Perspex I believe. Very tough material and scratch proof as I found during the build.
The case is 15mm taller in height meaning thicker rads can be installed. I took advantage of this and fitted a XSPC Xflow 45mm radiator. After installing this there was still a ton of room left! I think I could have gotten away with fitting a 60mm radiator in there with ease and that's including the fans installed.
For the front I opted for another XSPC 240 radiator eliminating the need for the 2 x 120mm EK rads. This created some space for more allowing me to fit my res and pump next to the front radiator instead of behind it, allowing more gpu space if needed in the future.
For my storage devices, I opted to keep both my HDD's outside of the case still as I allows me easy access to them when needed. My SSD though I kept internally and mounted it to the hdd rack located behind the case on the other side of the motherboard tray.
My only problem that im facing at the moment is my pump which is sitting in an awkward position. I have had to raise it up a few inches so it doesn't interfere with the gpu cables and the gpu's themselves. I could do with a nice acrylic block or cube to sit underneath pump as im only using something as a temporary to hold it in place. Or if anyone has any ideas please do share! OR better still if Parvum Systems is reading this, please could you guys make me an acrylic cube the same size as my DDC pump so I can rest the pump ontop of it. I have all the necessary dampening material, just nothing to raise it lol.
Now for the pictures... I started taking them but because it got so late... I just wanted to complete the build as quickly as possible.
The extra height has also given me more room to fit another 80mm fan as well so thinking I will get another Arctic cooling 80mm for better exhaust.
