I planning a new build and have reached the air/water cooling dilema.

If I went with water is it better to buy a kit or get a case with it included?
I really like the TT Armour with LCS.

I am a little nervous about water inside my pc case so i keep going back to an air cooled build

Water is something you just want to do.

when done well I find it a lot safer than ahving a great big huge heavy heatsink clamped to the mobo.

I would get a kit like the swiftech this will serve you well and its easy to install.

Don't get a case with it inc - do some research and buy a decent kit such as the apex ultra or be brave and buy a custom setup.

Which i would recommend. I feel that i wouldnt have enjoyed it as much with a kit.

I went custom for my first water cooling setup, was very enjoyable and a great learning curve, but it did get frustrating at some points. (I'm very easy to get wound up/impatient)

But i guess if you bought a kit, everything would be ready for you, with nice simple instructions. So less hassle.

Do you spend 90 or 95% of your time on these forums checking sigs? :p

Hmm I like multiple choice questions! I'll take a guess at 95%, that right? :p

As above getting custom parts is much more rewarding or a decent kit.

If you aren't aure about what parts to get have a look at the parts on petras (US shop, don't ship here afaik) and just copy one of those kits.

Ok water cooled it is, just had a look at some of the custom bits and there are some cpu blocks with 3 pipe connectors. what is the 3rd one for?

The middle one is the input, the idea being the coldest water hits the centre and the outputs on either side suck the water out. A kit should come with a splitter for the outputs, I think you can buy them seperately too.
