I can't find anything definitive on the web so perhaps we could come up with our own for the PS3 FAQ... feel free to add more games which are rumble-ready now.

MotorStorm - downloadable patch
Heavenly Sword - downloadable patch
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - built in
Resistance: Fall of Man - downloadable patch
Ratchet & Clank Future - built in

To be honest, it would be easier to complile a list of games that don't have rumble, as most do. New ones all do, and a great deal of older titles have updates. Even, as you say, Motorstorm and Resistance... and F1 :) My first PS3 games.

Just go on those Asian sites and pretend they're in the UK, that's what I did. :p

+1

Had one since the first week in December.
Never looked back.

Why wait.
You pay in pounds, takes about one week to get here.
Then you're sorted.

The triggers are slightly improved and the dead zone on the analouges is reduced also

is there anything offical by Sony on this?. i'm sure they said the only thing added was rumble and i'm seeing more and more people like me who have got one do not notice any difference with triggers and dead zone. I still say its a load of cobblers that people think its better just because its a new controller and they own own. One of them myth type things "it must be better" because i say so

It definitely is mate, I can 100% say my DS3 is way better than my SixAxis, no reason to make it up or anything, but I can't really prove it either.

Yeah, it is much much better than SixAxis. I think some confusion may stem from the possibility that the newer Playstation 3 packs (such as 40GB) have the SixAxis controllers with the new plastic quality, analog stick quality, etc etc. I don't know if that's true or not, but it's very possible as quite a few people have said it's the same in every way but with added rumble. Everyone who says there is a huge improvement are pretty much the ones who got the console at release. Maybe some-one can try to confirm by comparing launch sixaxis with the sixaxis in the newer PS3 packs?

I agree with you. Either that, or we both got normal sixaxxis controllers and the rest of the guys have knackered ones?

I do believe Sony mentioned something about deadzones being tweaked, and this is how the whole "band wagon" (imo) started. (can't be bothered to find the link)

I have never been bothered enough to do any meaningful comparisons. But on a day to day basis I just pick up whichever controller is closest to me and never see a difference.

I doubt anyone is making stuff up, but possibly exaggerating the effects of the new controller (inadvertantly).

Although it's perhaps futile, maybe we could try taking pictures of our normal sixaxis with the black plastic finish? I think I heard from somewhere that the newer ones don't have the transparent smokey black finish, is yours pitch black and opaque rp2000?

But I do have to say, it's definitely not exaggerated - the difference between my launch sixaxis and the DS3 are really like night and day.

Until I read on this forum the plastic was see through I wasn't aware of it (why would I ever hold up my contoller to the light?).

I just held my DS3 up to the light and it is pitch black.
I just held up my launch Sixaxis and it is see through.
Now we just need someone with a 40gb to do the same.

Edit:
If anyone's in the Manchester area they are more than welcome to try my Sixaxis
If anyone really cares enough and does come round your house, invite me round and I will bring a baseball bat and batter them silly for making such an issue out of this. (My baseball bat is plastic, and see thorough when you hold it up to the light, but has better deadzones then my previous aluminium one).

haha!

i can see through my sixaxis and its from 60gig pack brought in November - but i 100% can not tell any difference apart from rumbe and weight, movement on the browser with the cursor is exactly the same on both on mine, same degree of movement before cursor moves.

Back to the orignal question of which games support rumble...

I've found generally that the only older games which have been patched to support it are the Sony produced/published ones. The majority of 3rd party games don't seem to have been patched.
