My 570GTX's sound weird. see wav file

could you listen & tell me if you think they sound faulty to you.

This mic is an inch-2 inch away from the cards. it wsounds worse closer to the Power cables (i move up and down each card)
this is not the fan put somthing in the internals.

(playing simple mafia II Benchmark)
www.smogsy.co.uk/GFX/gfx.wav

EVGA are going to allow me to RMA the cards However
**** at the moment saying this normal sound operation (from my description)

i have now submitted the wav to both EVGA/**** to confirm what they think.

sounds like a dodgy fan or bearing in the fan. give it a good clean with a brush and some air. If it keeps doing it its the bearings. I have the same issue with my rear case fan, fixed generally by giving it a back hander till it stopps.

To fix it properly get a replacement fan for the heat sync.

Cards are only 2-3 months old very clean & its not the Fan its louder at the Cable end im thinking bad PWM...

just wanyed ideas & your thoughts if this sounds wrong.

mute the game and step away from the machine so that it is just the noise we here rather than the game and your breathing.

downloading heaven benchmark & ill run that unfortnately my video camera can not pick up the noise....

ill run a benchmark of heaven with idle noise first then load from heaven.

Done bumped up sound by +6DB so its easier to hear
uploading now www.smogsy.co.uk/GFX/final.wav

Good Timings.
0-60 seconds idle
60-2:44 - running heaven benchmark @ 1920x1200 4xAA
2:44 -2:50 Benchmark with me moving headset up and down card (noise changes)
3:06 - 3:12 - exiting Heaven Benchmark Credit Screen high fps coil noise.

any breathing noise is the GFX cards as i was on the otherside of the room for most of it.

my 560ti twin frozr2 card makes a rattling noise from one fan. tap the case and the noise sometimes goes away. its deffo the fan, i took the cooler apart and it turns out msi cheaped out and used 2 sleve bearing fans. had the card for probably 1 month now and the fan is nackered. rma will just land me another crappy card with sleve bearing fans. gonna have to mod the cooler and strap on 2 regular 8cm fans to get the job done.

Possibly an unbalanced fan or a problem with the bearings.

Edit...Possibly "first one and then the other"
