Trying to work out what to do bikewise for a 2 week cycle holiday around Morocco. I don't think it's a good idea to do it on the carbon Synapse as I probably can't carry enough and it's a bit nickable.

Was looking at these 2 frames, both seem pretty versatile and could use them for winter training rides with guards on as well.

Keeping it disc I can put some of the Synapse parts on to it for the trip to keep costs down, then build up both bikes over winter with some nicer wheels for the Synapse.

Any other ides?

edit:
kinda looking for something that's still fairly light but can take a rack and a bit of abuse.

Um yeah those weights should be fine, it's more to say I don't need a full on tourer/expedition bike that can be much heavier.

Sent some emails about the Eq but yeah it's looking to be out of stock now. 2016 models are coming in December which is too late
