Little Big Adventure

I had never played the second one but I played the demo of the second one ages ago and liked it. About a year ago I managed to find the full game and played through it all. I thought it got quite hard throughout the end levels.

Yep one of my fav games of all time:) And LBA2 is every bit as good, just a lot bigger. Shame i've lost the cd's :(

I cant remember LBA being isometrical and a platform type game. Thought it was a 3d adventure game point and click

LBA2 was proper 3D, although still isometric. It was an absolute work of art :)

Never played 1 or 2, but a mate brought 3 round to mine years ago. Must have 97/98? Cracking game! Re-bought it a couple of years ago and got it patched to work in Win98. Fond memories. :)

I wish I could get the first Tomb Raider working in XP. Got it working with no sound, or with sound but kept crashing. :(

3??? You sure? Thought they only made 2. I'm off to search...

probably my fondest gaming memory ever!

I remember when i finished the second one - i was genuinely upset that it had finished and i wasnt going to be able to replicate the feeling of playing it again :o

Never felt that way about a game since.... i was fairly young though...

LBA 1 was amazing. I remember the complete satisfaction of completing the game without using and cheats or hints etc. Brilliant game.

Took me ages to complete LBA1!

The 'ball' thing was sometimes a very frustrating weapon to use. And worse yet, the fact that if you were shot at pretty close range you would just fall back, and get hit again, and fall back, and get hit again! Going forwards wasn't a good idea...
Also the puzzles and mazes in that underground temple were hard.

I think the reason I found it hard/frustrating was the save game system was more annoying than hitman's.

Edit: and remember searching plantpots/cuboards for money? Jump Jump Jump!

Heh I've found my lba 1 disks :) Had to install virtual machine and XP to get it running (16bit doesn't work in a 64bit os) but well worth the effort. Now play time. :D
