little bit of cleaning

right my mouse mat and my mx510 optical mouse is getting dirty what should i wipe it with. Im starting to get bits of black lumps which can easily be picked off but it fills a bit sticky which is hampering my dods sniper skillz

I use a bit of window glass cleaner on a towel to clean that sort of thing. Failing that, try rubbing alcohol or acetone.
