Is there a way I can make the windows I have open active without clicking them? Like as soon as I hover over them they're active?
Also is there a way to get rid of the recycle bin from the desktop, add it to rocket dock and change the icon?

I am running win 7 ultimate 64bit

I don't think there is a Windows setting that will do this. Maybe a third party tool would let you do this. Not sure why it matters. It's only one click! Either that or just use Alt-Tab :D

No idea about rocket dock, but you can remove the recycle bin icon by right-clicking the Desktop and choosing Personalize... Then click Change desktop icons on the left. Some checkboxes to turn them on and off.

If anyone knows of a 3rd party tool let me know.

Also people who know about rocketdock even if I change the recycle bin icon it changes again when i put something in there, why?

For the mouse focus in W7 there is a built-in facility: Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> "Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse"

You can tweak the registry to adjust the delay or disable having the window brought to the foreground.

You have to change both recycle bin icons, Full and Empty.

have you managed to do this? because i tried and it didn't work

Are you using the rocket dock recycle bin or did you just drag the windows one onto the dock?

Right click the bar - add item - recycle bin.

You can then right click the bin - rocket dock - icon settings. There should be two icons, One for full and one for empty, change them both.

If thats what you're doing, and it doesn't work, Im stumped.

Yeah that's what I did I can change it but when it's full it looks like what it used to look like, then when I change the icon for full it only looks like that when it's empty
