Well i've had the Mx for 4 weeks now, it didn't stay stock for long but i knew this would be the case, just done little mods atm but they have cost a fair wack but well worth the effort.

Upgrades done :

Kenwood MP3 HU
Kenwood Ipod Interface
Infinity 6510CS 17" components
Vibe Black Box 1 Amp (For Components)
Chrome Internal Door Pulls
Dash / Gear surround change from a higher model (Euphoric)

F1 DSG3 Rubber on the back
Clear Side Repeators
Clear Side Reflectors (+ Back light wired in with side lights, aka volvos)
Alloy Roll / Style Bar
Mazda Chrome Filler Flip Cap

Stil got some things on order / need fitting :

IL Motorsports Twin Exit Exhaust
EBC Disks / Green Stuff Pads all round
Carbon Fiber Cold Air Feed

Next thing on my list (Need to Save up) is a Turbo / Supercharger conversion, but thats many pennys and i currently have very few

Well i've just added it all up arround about £2330 for everything on my list of installed bits and bits on order, really wish i hadn't bothered adding it up

Would do but i've yet to have tea, just been taken out for a death ride in my mates new 55 plate evo and i'm still shaking :eek:

Very very smart Mark! Looks superb with the clear lenses.

What do you think to the 6510's? I recently fitted my 605CS's and am very very impressed. How do they hold up against the road noise?

Looking awesome mate. Mighty tempted by one of these. Whats the 0 - 60 time? 7.9 is the quickest of any of the models isn't it? Might not be enough of a jump for me

Cheers fella, with them amped up they put out some good volumes whilst still giving out good bass, i can do 'Some MPH' and still hear my favorite ABBA track just fine

, really like infinity speakers for the price you really can't do better

Mine is 7.7 because its the 1.8iS

Any idea what the breathing mods you have will bring it down to? Do they respond well to breathing mods? Would like one but i could never afford a turbo/supercharger.

The MX-5 isn't really about outright speed though.

It's being able to take it round country roads and enjoy it's excellent handling and road-holding at legal speeds, rather than having something that needs to be driven extremely fast to have fun!

I really wouldn't bother turbo/supercharging it, as already said that car is all about fun at legal speeds.

I didn't say I wouldn't supercharge it

All I was implying is that don't be put off if you can't afford to supercharge it, as they are still downright satisfying cars without. However with = :eek:

I agree they are fantastic cars without extra oomph. However their chassis has been so over engineered they can happily and easily cope with extra power

That looks great! I normally *hate* chrome but that's looking fantastic - I think it works well with the black. :cool:

Seriously that's beautiful. My car's so dirty and looking really sorry for itself compared to yours. Maybe I need to give it a good wax when I can be bothered - I just driver her too much.... Though at the moment with this weather it's really "do I go by bike or by car?"

I'm getting a black grille to shove in front of the FMIC - it'll help give it a bit of protection whilst still allowing plenty of air going to it. I think it looks great with a grille. When I upgrade the exahust I'll be going for the single exit though - try and keep it as subtle as possible

I might also go for that brace as Mr Sukebe has done. I also need to get a proper front number plate mount like yours.

Clear side repeaters are probably one of the things I want to do, as well as maybe a roll bar but in matt black - not chrome or brushed aluminium I'm afraid

From what I saw of the video, they look awesome cars to drive. Everything seemed very stable even going at a reasonable pace.
