Well walking home from the car last night with my little boy (16months) in one arm and heavy bags in the other, the mbp being one of them. Anyway cut a long story short walking up some dark slippery steps and slipped. Guess which I let go of?

No not the boy you heathens.........

So now my mbp has a nice little dink between the lid catch and dvd slot where the zipper from my slip case got rammed into it :(

Anyone know of a list of repair centres, was thinking of getting a quote to replace the lowercase, and have them repair my floppy mouse button which feels like a 100 year old mouse which the springs have gone in.

I think you will find I am not a minority when I say that I would have dropped the kid!

Children mend themselves, Macbooks don't. You are clearly not a true Mac lover. ;)

well just found out that the lowercase is £95+VAT and £75+VAT to fit it. might be able to blag the fitting charge if i can convince them that the mouse button ain't right for a £2k machine.

might be time for a better case me thinks. was looking at "Pro 15/17 Backpack by Brenthaven". Any opinions?

the little lad was half asleep on my shoulder. "sorry honey i dropped the boy instead of the laptop, to save me from not smashing myself into the ground" = life not worth living. maybe i should have just taken it myself.

Pah! Drop the kid, and with your wife its easy, just say "I saved us £200 today... oh and (Childs name) slipped over so he needs his fantastic mothers love to make him feel better!"

Job Done!
