Hi there i've emailed overclockers but they haven't helped me really even though i love them.
Basically, i have been using this computer for about a year, i left my computer on for around 2 days when i first got to university then when i got home one night the computer was off. I turned it back on and when i checked smart doctor the graphics card fan had no speed and when i opened my case and looked inside the gfx card fan had stopped spinning so kept eventually overheating.. I RMAd the card which is a '6800 Gt 256 Mb' and overclockers said
"The card passed 12 laps of 3DMark 06 at max settings with the fan spinning throughout. We could not find a fault."
So i'm like oh.. i am currently using my old pci card '9200' in my computer since the 6800 gt keeps overheating and the computer is playing low spec games fine with the 9200 in it. I thought it may be the PSU or something even though it has worked for a year, it is a 350W so i purchased a 570W for around 30 pound but that didn't solve the problem.
I have no clue to what it might be..
It can't be the motherboard can it because the pci card works ?
Or could it be the agp slot ?
Please help me, i have a lan soon.
Thanks in advance.
