Little help with css

Im designing a site for my uni assesment and im just trying to nail my basic layout at the moment,
it all looks fine in ie apart from my right hand menu seems to be miles down the page and i cant seem to find a way to bring it back up to just under the logo any ideas?
In Firefox its well and truely messed up though anyone get any ideas on how to get it to look like it does when viewed in ie?
I know these are quite vague and it seems like im asking a lot but ive been sat for the best part of 4 hours ripping my hair out trying different things to get it set out how i want it so any help would be much appreciated

Any one got any hints and tips? im getting pretty annoyed now that i dont seem to be able to sort this by myself

Have you tried using Position - absolete. Line up the divs.

I think i love you thats sorted my problem and its now looking pretty much exactly as i want it just need to work on my content now
