Little help with upgrading my computer ?

Ok so i have being a console gamer for quite a while and now want to move to PC, however my rig cant play borderlands 2 on the lowest possible settings. My current specs are

Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5800 3.20GHz
4GB Ram
1 TB hard drive
ATI Radeon HD 5450
300w PSU
Asus P5G41T-M LX2/GB Motherboard
Windows 7 64 bit

And i am looking to buy the ASUS AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB GDDR5. Will this setup run games well on high, or are there any extra things i need to add to my setup.

How much do you have to spend to get gaming?

I have about £150, i don't want to build a new PC just upgrade the necessary parts to be able to comfortably play games.

Is the HDD and optical drive sata? Give us a max budget and we can work some spec'ing magic
