OK, this isn't a whats it worth thread but more of an, I don't know what I have so guide me please thread.
My dad used to be into photography fairly big, he had a Sony Alfa 900 and he bought me a Nikon D-something to get me into it.
Over time his PD has meant he wan't able to hold the A900 so offered me a swap for my Nikon.
I didn't know what I had so said yes as it would have been incredibly rude not to (as he bought me the Nikon) Now I gather the A900 is a fairly big and capable camera.
He didn't take to the Nikon so went and swapped it off and put some in and got himself a Sony Alfa 57.
Now his PD is so much that he can't go more than 50 yards from his house so has asked me to sell his camera for him (asked me to sell it to a camera store locally) and I want to get him the best I can value wise.
Would I be better selling the Alfa900 I have and keeping the 57 or is the 57 worth more?
I don't like the A900 doesn't have a built in flash and the only features I "really" use on it are the longer exposure and the bracketed shooting for HDR images.
The 57 seems to have a built in flash, a nice screen to see what you're pointing at but I don't know if it will do bracketed?
