Little Help!

Ok so, just recently i've been getting this type of problem, best way to explain it is my display will just turn to some static mess, I cant load any type of full screen app, on doing so my monitor will turn off and sometimes my PC will just shutdown, am I right in saying my GFX card has died a horrible death?

Just looking for some reassurance on this matter, thanks!

Yeah thats what I was thinking, Ive got some cheapy 500w PSU

Atm running

Athlon64 3200+
2g ram
gfx card is a x800gto, friend of mine just had the same problem where the card basically died.

Im tempted to buy a new PSU to just test but the funny thing is afew days ago I bought a x1900xt which arrived today but I cant try because the 6pin power cable wasnt with it
