Can you sound experts recommend me a cheap card under £30.

All I want it to do is have a good sound quality (better than onboard) and a microphone port that works. Easy set-up and usage would be great.

An Audigy 2 or an Audigy SE will set you back less than 20 quid. Use latest XP drivers and you`ll have better than onboard. There`s none for sale here at OC but Google fetches loads.
