little mod i did today

I've seen a couple of focus STs with black headlight surrounds that I thought looked sexy.. not sure a mondeo is really worth the trouble though.

Dont like it would look better on a darker colour, Couple of guys done this on st owners and said it reduced light output.

Thought the zetec-S came with these as standard? I quite like it.

Edit: maybe not standard, re-read the adverts and the seller had done the same mod.

its not a zetec-s

and i was not going for an exgressive look, new focus zetec climates come with lights like this as standard

a) trying to give an aggressive look to something thats about as aggressive as a sedated Labrador

So the same can be said about your Golf then, with its similar mod?

The black lights aren't meant to make it look agressive again you've got the story wrong just like you did when I did mine. They're a subtle mod designed to tidy up the front a bit more. If he did want to make it look "agressive" I'm sure he'd have fitted a silly body kit and barry boy exhaust but the top and bottom of it is that he hasn't.

Looks good. Get some new alloys now Danny and you're done.

ST220 alloys F.T.W.

i didnt say it was a bad mod. angel eyes etc on the wrong car is a bad mod lol

i do think its a bit pointless though. not really the sort of car to be modding

is the vectra sri agressive then?? lots of barries drive these around my end

completely different headlight design. the mondeo ones have a slanty eye effect so blacking them makes it look more agressive, which will look very daft on a car with hubcaps etc in fact, id maybe even go as far as to say barry, dependant on the rest of the car

so the vectra ones do not look agressive etc neither do the golf ones, because the light is just the wrong shape for it

i cant beleive im debating vectra headlights vs mondeo ones... like debating whether milk tastes better than water
