Hello i never really used a mac before so bare with me here. I have an issue at work where i am trying to connect a mac to a printer that is running off a printer server running server 03, now i downloaded the mac driver and install it on the mac of course and keyed in the ip of the printer. Now it went to print something but ended up throwing out blank pages. The printer is a ricoh 2233c (thinks that the model number) Any one got any ideas, if you need more info let me know.

to me that sounds like a driver problem or a communication problem.

Have you tried plugging the printer directly into the Mac?
Maybe try reinstalling the printer driver and dare i say it "reboot" the Mac

Let us know. :)

Never got a chance to do anything 2-day. But the printer is a large photocopier by default and has a printer in it as well. So that rules out plugging it in.

Ick- All-in-one devices with crappy drivers make baby Jebus cry :(

However on a slightly more constructive note, how are you connecting to the printer? If it has a shared queue on a Windows server have you tried connecting to it via Samba and using i) a generic postscript driver ii) the specific driver? Also what version of Mac OS are you running OS 9? OS X.3? OS X.4?

Trust me, its not a all in one crappy thing. The product in question is this, http://copytech.ru/production/ricoh/af2232c.jpg so its networked and cannot be attached to the mac by a cable, only by network. I have downloaded the driver again with no joy. Would it be because its installed on a win 2003 server or something? I hate mac's to be honest and cant stand working on them
