Little problem with Win 8.1 and Outlook 2003.

Hiya guys, i have a irritating problem which im hoping some of you guys have ran into and know how to fix.

When im sending an email in outlook 2003 and i start typing the name until it pops up in the history drop down; i cannot click it, tab to it or anything. I have to manually type the names in. If i click or tab it just tabs down to the next line and leaves the few characters i have already typed in.

Probably too obvious but does the down arrow key not work?

I can select the names but when i either mouse click, tab or press enter it doesnt actually select them. So for example if i put 'Jo' in and it highlights as 'JoeF1' and press enter or space or whatever it doesnt select it and it keeps 'Jo'.

So strange. Might be worth a reinstall?
