Looking to move my system into a Prodigy case, reason for this is I need some extra space in my desk cause currently everything is a little crammed. Question is can matx motherboard still overclock? I was looking on getting these things on Monday:
YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte Z77N-WIFI Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboard £98.99
1 x BitFenix Prodigy 'Yin' Mini-ITX Cube Case - White/Black £69.98
1 x Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU Cooler - Silver (Socket 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / 2011 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / FM1 / FM2) £66.98
1 x Samsung Green (MV-3V4G3D/US) 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz 30nm Dual Channel Kit £64.99
1 x BitFenix Prodigy Window Side Panel - White £9.98
Total : £310.93 (includes shipping : FREE).

I heard these Phanteks should fit inside by looking at some videos and pictures. Hopefully I can still overclock to 4.5ghz which is what I currently have.

You can overclock on that board, sure. But you can't increase the voltages, so you wouldn't get very far.

I believe there is a/some M-ITX board(s) that you can adjust the voltage on, but I cant remember the models off the top of my head, sorry. :)

Im sure someone will be able to give you an example, if not, a bit of Googling should do the trick. Or maybe... Ask 8 Pack :D

Will probably have to find one that can change the voltages, although when I was overclocking I remember running stable at 4.3ghz on 1.200 volts and I'm pretty sure that was the stock voltage. Another question will that mobo be able to change the RAM settings say if I want to have the Samsung Green running at 2133 or is that limited to?

Ninja I can't find his build, gonna have another search now.

edit: Found it does look pretty awesome, shame it wasn't using the case I want to get :p

Yea I got this system stable at 4.3ghz with stock volts but couldn't push 4.4ghz until I went to 1.255v. Might just get the Gigabyte board since it's £60 cheaper and £160 for a matx is a bit steep :(

Its a mini-itx board, which will fit the prodigy, an matx won't. Matx is 24cm x 24cm and mini itx is 17cm x 17cm..

If your happy with 4.3, that's a great plan.. :)

Yea mini-itx my bad. Looks like I'll be after the Gigabyte board, I'm guessing the RAM voltages will also be locked on the board
