Asus Silent Square Pro (Socket 478/754/940/775/939/AM2) CPU Cooler
(£31.71)

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)
(£82.24)

Shipping : £8.25
Total : £299.88

I've been wanting to get 4gb of ram for a while as Vista(x64) uses half my current ram atm and doesn't leave me much left, i thought i might upgrade the CPU as well seeing as my current one (e6600) goes for around 60 or 70 on a certain auction site, so i could get a quad core for around 100 quid and whens that "Energy Efficient 95W Edition" coming out? is it worth waiting for?

oh and is the Asus silent Square Pro worth the extra cash over getting the Arctic cooling freezer pro 7?

thanks

P.S. what seems to be the best bang for your buck direct x 10 graphics card manufacture atm, ATI or Nvidia?

If you're going for a quad it's probably worth getting a better HSF than the asus one - best choice would probably be the Thermaltake ultra 120 extreme http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=hs-039-tr&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat= or if you want to get something a little cheaper then the tuniq tower http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=hs-001-sb&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat= or the scythe ninja http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=hs-003-sy&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=

are both the same price as the asus silentsquare and much better at cooling. http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/coolers/print/thermalright-ultra120ex.html
