Live Account + Memory Card

If i put my xbox live account on an xbox memory card, to use round a friends, will i have to copy the profile back to the xbox when i come back to update it?

Nope, I keep my profile on my memory card and have no problems using it round my mates.

No. Just whip it in and out of any Xbox at will without problem.

I permanently have my Xbox Live profile on a Memory Unit, along with any saves that i might use on a mates Xbox (Rock Band, Scene-it etc).

hmm i can only move or delete my profile. is there a way to copy it to the memory card, or would i just have to have the memory card plugged into my xbox if i want to play?

Yep, you can only have one copy of a profile.

Just plug the memory unit into whichever console your using at that point.
