Live and no free points

Just turned my xbox on and there was an offer for 3 months xbox live 50% off and 400 free points so thought I couldn't go wrong with that so signed up but didn't get my points

Having never done it before I assume the points should just be sitting in my account instantly?

Further more as soon as I completed the sale the offer was no longer showing, I want my free points!! :mad:

When I did a similar thing - it took 5/6 weeks

They'll likely be credited to your account approximately two days after you've given up wondering when they're going to appear.

Yeah free points from offers usually take a few weeks to appear.

Who knows why... not like they need to process them individually :rolleyes:
