Just recently started getting into the live side of the 360, mostly racers I play but I was browsing through the arcade downloads section the other day with a couple of mates and got almost pee'd my pants at some of the games available such as R-Type, Speedball 2, Streets of Rage, Gauntlet...the list goes on. Since I’m pretty new to live what are the essential arcade downloads?

Looking for some good multi or co-op games. anything like micro machines around?

Bomberman Live! is awsome. It's the definitive version and contains every option you could ever want.

Worms is good fun in multiplayer too. :)

All there Arcade stuff looks CRAP, they all seem like cheap games for Microsoft to make money, i never look twice at them

Then you're missing out. Braid, Geometry Wars 2 and SSF2THDR are all classics that I played as much of if not more than last year's best retail games. I would recommend them to anyone.

Obligatory pimping of Geometry wars 1& 2, Marble Blast Ultra, Heavy Weapon, 3 on 3 NHL

Undertow was pretty cool and Aegis Wing is a free side scrolling space shooter (with 4 player coop) that was created by some Microsoft interns a couple of years ago but is only available from the US marketplace (create a new US tag to get that one)

Yup, I'll second marble blast, bought it for my kids at the weekend, can't get on my Xbox anymore :(.

Also, Doom and Bomberman live. Oh, and Zuma.
