Did anyone else go? What did you think? Any pics?

I went standing, was only bout 70yds from the stage so dead centre. Foo Fighters & Metallica were awesome!

I was pretty impressed with the new stadium too...well organised, clean and not too imposing

I didnt go but was at Metallica the day after.

As usual, a 2+ hour set by what can only be described as pure class.

I was fairly impressed with Wembley but it just did'nt seem to make the impression the old Wembley did, but I put that down to the newness of the place. It will come with time.

I went and thought it was great, but the sound was poor if you were miles up in the air like me.

Everything echoed unsuprisingly and a few bands just became mush which was almost unrecognisable

Black Eyed Peas were awesome

I heard the televsion coverage was shocking...cutting from the Metallica set to Crowded House?!

My friend who was sitting upper tier said the sound was a tad off....i suppose its not the ideal place for concert acoustics. Sounded awesome in the standing section though...and like you say Black Eyes Peas did a good set (second time ive seen them live

)

What did you think of the toilets? ....my company manufactured the whole lot

also completely agree with the off message comment...it was all about this potentially deadly climate change thats occuring and looks to get worse yet evryone seemed to think it was a big joke....jakasses

I thought they were very good, there was never a queue. I was very impressed with the stadiums facilities in comparison to the Old Wembley.

Yet when are people going to realise you need twice as many female toilets as male ones?

You were pretty darn close to the front then. You must have been queuing for ages cos i got there at around 10 and had to wait an hour and a half! Good atmosphere?

I would post my pics on here but i was bit further away...cant see much apart from the big screens and little ant-men running round on the stage
