Live Email

Hi,

I have just set up a new Live (hotmail) email account.

Does anybody know if it's possible to send/recieve these emails through Windows Mail?

There's an app called Windows Live Mail which essentially replaces Windows Mail in Vista and lets you do just that. Works very well, I've had it for quite a while.

Does this handle normal pop3 mail aswell? I assume I get it form the Microsoft website?

do yourself a favour and ditch that address, get a gmail one

gmail is tons quicker, and you can setup pop3 or imap if you want to, plus the spam filter is amazing

HTTP, POP3 and IMAP.

You can get the installer for the Live apps here. Select/deselect the things you don't want to install.
