Live Messenger 8.5

Gone to log into Messenger just now and it's forcing me to upgrade.

I've been denying the update for yonks - I've seen the newer one in use and not too keen!

Anyone know yet how to still use 8.5?

i stayed with 8.5 for ages after trying the beta of hte new one a while ago but have just decided to get the new one again. its ok once you run apatch and disable the stupid photo sharing crap
