anyone know of a place on the net where i can pick up second hand PA's, microphones etc?

Most of the better known music shops have a second hand section (GAK, Sound control, Proffesional Music Technology, etc) But you will be paying top dollar.

Dare I suggest the auction site? I managed to pick up a respectable 4x12 cab 120W amp Roland GP100 and flight case for less than £120 off there.
