live, speech through speakers on 360

Hi all, I thought that there was a setting to enable other players speech on live to come through your speakers, aswell as your headset? I cant find any options for this in the dash. BTW what does the little round button next to the memory card slots do on the 360, ive been wondering for days now and cant find my handbook

The button is for connecting the wireless pads, you press the button then turn the pad on and it will find it.

As for setting where sound comes from, while in a game press the Guide button, click on your gamertag, then choose personal settings, its under there afaik.

Thanks mate, Ahhh so thats what its for, I only have a wired controll, im off to try and find the speaker option now

Press the guide button, move down to personal settings, and select "Voice"

There are options for headset only, TV only, or both headset and TV.

thanks guys, the speech is now coming out both speaker and headset, I take it there is no option to adjust the speech volume coming through the speakers??

as Bigpops said above, there are options for speech to come through the headset, TV, or both.

If you want to change the volume of speech coming through your tv then I suggest reaching for the remote
