Live Update save for bios Flashing?

Is live update by MSI safe to use for BIOS flashing? I have an MSI board and want to use the windows method to flash the bios rather than using the usb pen drive method.

i used the pen drive method and it is meant to be the safest, it took me no longer than half an hour and that included reading all the guide and getting the files etc

Hmmmm how do you make your pen drive into a flash drive??

I think i've tried before but it wouldn't even read from the pen drive... even when i've set it in my bios to read from usb drives first.

Use the MSI forum flash tool, used it a few times myself without issues, the most recent flash a few minutes ago.
