Anyone tried a differen cam in their xbox yet?? Can't believe the low spec rubbish ms are selling. Surely support for your own camera should be sorted?

1) Doubt a different cam would work, would have heard about it by now.

2) I thought it was supposed to be quite good spec?

Normal cameras won't have the support for the eye toy type stuff will it?

For what it's used for the MS one seems perfectly acceptable, I don't have a problem with mine but then again this is my first proper webcam.

So you'll go out and buy their camera I suppose. Don't think they'll ever support other makes TBH.

What do you mean by low spec? I thought that was a 1mp camera and a very advanced one?

I was under the impression it was vga and the software did something fancy to give you 1mp images?! :confused:

its 1.3 for stills and 640x480 30 fps video, thats a good spec.....
